FWA AWARDS Salah beats De Bruyne, Rice to Footballer of the Year grant

Salah was casted a ballot to be preferable over De Bruyne by the football scholars in England.

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been delegated the 2022 Football Writers' Association Footballers of the Year on Friday, April 29, 2022.

This is the second time the Egyptian star would scoop the honor. The declaration got through an explanation by the FWA via web-based entertainment.

Salah beats De Bruyne to FWA grant

While Salah won the men's honor, Chelsea star Sam Kerr was casted a ballot victor of the ladies' honor.

The Liverpool stars crushed Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and West Ham's Declan Rice to the honor.

Salah arose champ of the honor with 48% of the vote to scoop his second FWA grant starting around 2018.

Salah has recorded 22 objectives and 13 helps driving Liverpool's charge for the Premier League title with his last negative mark against rivals Manchester United.

Kerr then again beat Arsenal's Vivianne Miedema and Manchester City's Lauren Hemp to arise victor.

The Australian striker has been prevailing this season and gotten 40% of the vote.
